Hello everyone, thanks for letting me join
I've been lurking here for a couple of weeks now and find this forum to be one of the few where members treat each other with respect and the information available is outstanding.
We started camping many years ago with a tent, got chased by a bear and mosquitoes (not sure which one was worse ). Promised the wife to buy a trailer after the bear incident and we own our fourth 5er now a 2008 Royals International which we want to trade for something new again.

Welcome; there are great people and information here at iRV2. We hope you are able to get any questions you have answered , and maybe help others with info on bear attacks and how to avoid. A 5er sounds like a good solution.
My last tenting was done at a campground on the Banff to Jasper Park Highway , called Mosquito Creek. Last weekend in July woke up to ice on the creek , at least the cold kept the bugs down.

Our family started out in a tent (in the rain) at Waterton Park in southern Alberta. As the kids grew up they moved out of our converted school bus into their own tents. We now have a motor home and the kids and their kids are all camping in their own units. The life style never changes even if the units do. Have fun that's what its all about.
