Hello. First RV for us

We had a 1991 34' Airstream previously and decided to try out a Class A Diesel Pusher for fun. Similar vintage... 1989 Elite 36' (CAT 3208 engine 300hp Turbo Aftercooled RV version)

Had this for a couple of weeks now and already done a lot of work. Finished the floors & trim inside. All new LED exterior lights and fixtures. All new LED interior lights. New awning fabrics. Some touch-up of paint where clearcoat was failing on the black parts. She is in very good shape mechanically and well cared for. A couple of odd electrical issues to sort our (fuel gauge, tach, reverse lights) but everything else works perfectly as it should. One leveler valve in the air system leaks so the back end squats when parked for 2 days or more.

Anyone know where I might source replacement bumpers? The rear has a good bend and failing chrome. The front has a minor bend that makes it look crooked but good chrome.

FYI, the pictures make it look more pink than it is in real life. The lighter color is silver/tan metallic (no pink at all) for reference. The darker color is a plum or light burgundy color.

How did you get it apart to show the chassis? That’s pretty cool. You will love this.

It came with a huge photo album of the build from 1989.

Congratulations on such a unique find. Looks like your already enjoying the process. And those are interesting bumpers. Maybe refinish them. The cat motor will treat you well. Safe travels to you!

I love it! Getting very strong Griswold Wagon Queen Family Truckster feeling from the front end. Cousin Eddie is so jealous. Just don’t put Aunt Edna on the roof!
