Hello from Alabama

Just wanted to say hello to all the wonderful people on this forum. My wife and I will be going part time in a year or so. We are looking forward to seeing this country, and maybe meeting some of you along the way. We were both raised in the sticks, and have been camping for years in tents. We have restored one Dodge base Class C, and are working on another on at this time.
We decided we want to travel when we first started out in the first Class C. Our plan for now is to be out for three or four months, and back home for a couple of months. All of our kids, and grand kids live around us here so we will have to come back here to visit from time to time. The Class C will be here for short trips, and for some of the kids to use. We are going with a 5th wheel, and truck. There will always be three of us. We have a wonderful son, Wes 24, who is special needs and will be with us where ever we go. I have read so much of this forum that I already feel like I know some of you very well, and you don't know what a blessing it is to have a forum, and people like you for encourgment and information.

Will do Swansonia, and thanks to all of you. My wife and I are looking forward to the time passing and getting on the road. We have so much ground to cover and want to enjoy every minute of it.

Hi Ted & Donna! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the bunch here! Come on over to MS and visit with us sometime. We have a great COE campground here, Dewayne Hayes. It's one of the best we have found in the 11 years we've been RV'ing. Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
