Hello from Alaska

I just bought my first Class A motorhome in preparation for my retirement next year. Will be picking it up from the lower 48 in May to live in full time beginning in July this year. I'm so excited to finally be living my dream.

I have 2 pull-behind camper-trailers that I have camped in on my land in the Kenai Penninsula for years, but this is my first really big rig. The campers will stay on the land for my son and his family or guests to use.

My new home is a Fleetwood Pace-Arrow 36B and I love it already. I have 2 Golden Retrievers and love to spend time training them. I hope to link up with others who show dog in Conformation, Rally, Agility, and Obedience.

Will be snowbirding to Alaska in the summer and plan to put a snow shovel on the front of the RV. When someone asks "what's that for?" I'm dropping anchor. LOL

The wife still wears her sweatshirt proudly stating "I'm dragging my anchor" with the appropriate flag

Good for you we're in the same boat, she retires shortly, I'm waiting for her

Signed

I'm envious

Welcome and many congrats on the new rig. Fun times ahead. If you ever pass through CA send a wave out in the middle of the state.
