Hello from Alberta

Hi folks. I just picked up a 1987 Triple E Regency class C 28ft motorhome for my family. It's pretty mint only having 66,000kms on it. We own a cabin we usually use but wanted something affordable to venture out and about, my 3 kids are excited for the whole motorhome experience next spring, maybe pull the boat around. It has the Ford 460 non Efi engine on the Econoline 350 chassis. Seems to be a solid platform, little short on power but I expected that. I located a missing hubcap but just curious on resources for parts if needed? Thanx for the help guys.

Welcome

Welcome Shad.
Hi and welcome to the forum. Always good to hear from another Canadian. While we are travelling in a 5th wheel now, we owned a 28 ft Class C (Citation) for some 16 years. I think it was an 86 with the Ford 460 engine (4 Barrel no EFI) on the Ford 350 Chassis. It was great and while it sucked a bit of fuel it never let us down. (Well...blew a heater hose once in Colorado) A Few trips to Ontario and many weekends on local ski hills..made great memories with our 4 kids. Triple E (Enns brothers in Manitoba) build a good unit. Anyway, I think the drive train is undestructible but keep your brakes in good shape and don't follow too close because if you are loaded up she can take a few extra feet to slow down. Happy Camping.
