Hello from balmy B.C.

Just found this forum last night. I joined because it appears active and the recent posts are easy to find unlike some other sites.
We are in our early 60's and bought our first rv, an old Vanguard 17' fiver, last summer to try the experience. We had a blast to put it mildly. No more tenting or sleeping in the back of the truck for us. We now need a bigger tv, the 4.0 Ranger isn't quite enough in the mountains and we want to upgrade the trailer in a couple of years before we retire. Our big trip this summer will be a two week honeymoon on the WA/OR coast. My first trip down the
aisle.

Not looking good for the winter olympics, more rain than snow. Some trees are starting to bud, if we get a cold snap they are toast.

Hello Roy, welcome to these forums. Well it's raining here in the far East also. Haven;t had much snow and really don't want what we will get over the next couple months. Then again with the global warming it will most likely snow here in July.

Cheers
Willey

Roy, WELCOME!! Glad you could join us and I think that you are going to like it.

I am also a newbie. Just bought my first TT in July 1998 (she's 18'). Only bought it for dog shows and was completely hooked, my first time out.

I recently upgraded my tow vehicle from a V6 to V8 Jeep, for the same reason, the V6 was struggling on the grades around here.

I was also just talking to my Mom, yesterday, and saying that with our really warm temps I'm wondering if they are going to have to make snow for the Olympics. The snow level keeps rising to 6500 - 7000 feet at the Hood. That is BAD for this time of year. Need that snow pack for our water this summer :(

Anyway, look forward to hearing about your travels and please share a photo of your rig.

Sheila

I'll also add a BIG Welcome from East Tennessee. Rainy here also but in the low 50's. Lot milder than a lot of places.
Again Welcome & post often
