Hello from BC, a camping mom coming from a Popup to a TT
Checking in from the lower mainland BC!
We have been popup campers for the past 5 years. Went from a Grand Caravan and barebones popup (without even a solid door) mostly solo with 3 and 4 year old DDs.. to a Dodge 1500 and a bit bigger (10'box lol) popup with a door, fridge and furnace (that was like hitting the lotto)...
Just recently traded it in for a Keystone Springdale 220BHWE TT (which sadly has not made it home yet)! I do most of the camping with my 2 DD (now 8 and 9) and the DH comes along when he has time off. We had picked out a Viking 17ft but before it made it off the lot we reconsidered the size and bumped up a bit. I think it was a good, longer term, choice.
I am a little bit apprehensive about learning to tow the TT but I know with practice it will be (almost) 2nd nature... But I think any apprehension is overshadowed by the excitement of not having to put the trailer up and down 3 times for one trip! Once to load, once when we arrive, and then once when we get home to make sure it is dried out!!
So this is my hello, and I am sure I will have plenty of questions to come!
