Hello from British Columbia
New to the RV world as I just bought a 25 foot 5th wheel. Now I have to figure out what kind of truck to get to tow it! Any suggestions out there would be appreciated.

Glad you're aboard. Congrats on the new rig. There are a number of threads that will help with your query. Just type tow vehicle for a 5th wheel in the google search box on the tool bar and leave it set to IRV2. I'm sure you'll find copious reading on the subject. Enjoy your adventures and be safe.

Welcome..we live in BC as well. We Tow a 30ft bumper pull at 8700 lb gross weight...with a 1 ton single rear wheel RAM 3500 cummins diesel with exhaust brake...it's a monster..going up or going down hill. We tow a lot and this TV is great. I run up the Coquhalla both ends at 100 k easy. The exhaust brakes is amazing.
IMHO Determine your price, how many times your going to tow and and for what the distance, weight of the trailer, new vs pre owned, towing conditions up/down-mountain passes. Lots to think about and I have just listed a few things of the top of my head....there is a lot of good stuff on the web.
Hope this helps

Welcome to iRV2, from the Upper Sunshine Coast.
Glad to have you with us.
Lac , has made some very good points about sizing a tow vehicle for your trailer, while your doing that , consider that maybe a few years down the road you may want to up-grade the trailer, and it would be very costly to have to up-grade the truck too.
JMHO: Go for a truck that will give you lots of room( capacity ) for any changes in trailer , you won't regret it.

Welcome to the forum....We have a 5er and tow with a F350. Our rig is about 12k all in....We have no problems towing with the F350. Stay away from any 6 litre F350. Fords had problems with that particular engine. We have a 2011 6.7 litre and its been an amazing tow vehicle.

Welcome to the Forum and sorry I have a Class A. But I am sure others will be able to help out with suggestions. Just be sure to know the GVWR of your Fifth wheel. Best of luck and congrats on your purchase.
