Hello from Canada
Hello all. I started camping about 33 years ago when I met my wife who had a tent trailer. We moved up to a 17ft travel trailer for a few years and then bought a brand new Cougar 26sab 5vr in 2010. It has been very good to us with very few issues other than the decals cracking and a mouse infestation that we dealt with.
We bought it with the intent of going south for the winters after we retired. Well the wife has been retired 9 years and me 3 years and we still haven’t done it. We had planned to do the east coast last summer, but Covid killed that idea. Looking forward to more opportunities in the future.
Best of luck and health to all, Greg.

Greg, besides a warm and hearty welcome to a fellow Canuck, may I suggest that "life" will put obstacles in our way no matter what we hope to do or plan. We've been blessed to experience every province (last ones in 2019 were Newfoundland & Labrador), and 46 of the US States (inc Hawaii & Alaska). If you want it bad enough, then please take action and make it happen before you are robbed of the active years of your life to do so.
Sometimes we just have to make it happen = always easier said than done but .... Certainly we were given lemons this past year and a half but our family is trying to make some lemonade out of it all. Replaced our kayaks we sold off from our Florida home in 2017, and realised we'd been missing that aspect the past few years (thought we were getting older so no point but ....).
We personally don't want to be battling for CGs or space when schools out, so we managed a couple trips on the water in May and June this year, and we leave again on Sunday for some fishing and kayaking at Sylvan Lake, up to Edmonton to check out the River Valley, North Saskatchewan River and Old Strathcona for a week or so. Also going to check out the River Cree Resort for a night. Not far afield but, we're compromising and doing things we probably wouldn't have done in a normal year so to speak. Less than a week after we get back, we are going to do a much longer sightseeing, fishing, kayaking and waterfall trek up the Cowboy Trail, Kananaski's, Peter Lougheed PP, Ghost Lake, Canmore, Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper surrounds, and finally loop around through Mount Robson BC into Yoho Nat'l Park before heading back home. Then last thing before we winterise the old girl yet again, will be a 3 day fishing trip to Lake McGregor and Travis Dam.
2021 is mainly all local Alberta based. Guess it's a provincial staycation, but that's OK. The way things are going here right now, we think next year will be another home or neighbouring province based year of travels. If the higher gas prices continue it actually could be a financial blessing for other indulgences in the future.
Happy Travels all SD.
