Hello From Canada

Good day folks,

Just thought I'd drop a line in here to say hello.

I've been reading the forums for a while and loved all the great advise and technical knowledge, when it occurred to me I should just join!

I just recently purchased my first unit, a 1999 27' fifth wheel and am just getting it ready for my first trip out in July.

I grew up camping and loved it and my wife and I used to camp a lot until we had kids. The little ones are now 2 and 3 so i figured it was the perfect time to get out and introduce them to one of the things that got me in touch with the outdoors and ignited my passion for all outdoors activities, from fishing to hiking to hunting to skiing. I really think it will be a great time to form some bonds and instill some values about nature/life.

I have a lot of questions, which I'll ask on the pertinent forums, but the one question I have in this introduction is for your advise and tips on camping with wee-ones.

Thanks in advance, and thanks for having me on what seems like a great community.

Welcome and congrats on the trailer. We have 2 boys, 4 and 7. They love going camping. We have found several campgrounds that have loads of activities for the little ones. Probably the most notable is the Jellystone parks (I think there are some in Canada). But we have found several independant parks as well. Have fun!

SW Alberta, so I definately know how TW feels, especially after this last winter! Unfortunately I can't escape every winter.
