Hello from Colorado Springs

Hey guys!

Glad I found this place! I just purchased an '81 Chevy Mobile Traveler (22-1/2'). She's old and needs some love which I'm prepared to give.

I have lots of questions as I've never owned an RV before and have only been in a couple during my years growing up. She's in storage right now while I remove a ton of travel stickers and am familiarizing myself with what she is made of and what she needs. I hope to have her fully restored by July. I'll be posting before and after pictures of my progress.

Bottom line is I'm retiring and can only afford to live out of this RV. I've found a park where I can stay full-time but want to take her out on the road during the summers and fulfill my bucket list.

I'm really excited about this new life in an RV.

Talk to you again soon!

Thanks for the quick welcome!

I've used car forums before so not totally lost. Just trying to figure out the photo galleries. If I just post to the photo section will they automatically be grouped into a personal gallery?

At the top of this page is a aqua Menu Bar. 7th from right is a menu titled FAQ (frequently asked questions) Click on that and than click on General Forum usage. You will open up 3 boxes listing many subtitles. In the 2nd box, 9th subtitle down, you will see Photo Albums and Pictures.

In the 3rd box, 5 subtitles down, you will see Attachments & Images.

Reading those 2 subtitles should answer most of your questions. I hope this helps you;

Don

Welcome to IRV2 Forum,

If the two MENU's are a little confusing at first while in the forum, just click on the top right HOME as this will show you a more basic menu before jumping in completely.

In this new forum, your questions about your Recreational Vehicle "RV" will be answered. Take some time to complete your USER CP as this will help members learn more about you to interact online with you. Above you will see two MENU's, on the top is the forum and what is provided for your enjoyment. The Next or second-line MENU is your member's MENU Here you have access to a lot for yourself even a BLOG.

So again welcome as we enjoy your JOINING US and exploring the world through an RV Window or rearview mirror.

Happy Safe Travels to you, Family and or Friends. This group is now even better, that you are here. WELCOME to IRV2 Tell your RV friends to JOIN US.

While I'm only a member like yourself, I am called;
