Hello from crowded Florida!

Well, after over twenty five years of RV travel, mostly with the kids (now grown and gone) the wife and I are contemplating retirement. That said, we are evaluating what extended road life traveling across this beautiful country would be like. We've owned everything from pop-ups to large travel trailers. The last rig was a 34' outback pulled by my Ford Excursion diesel. After a tree fell on the Ford for the second time in the last hurricane, the insurance company totaled it and we sold the pristine trailer to a young couple with two small children. Sort of passing on the torch as it were.

Considering a used, well loved used DP that we can use for 2-3 months on the road. Really love the American Coach but leaning towards a Tiffin for value/cost.

Hope we can leverage some insight here. Let the journey begin!

Welcome to the forum.

You are joining a good of folks here with good info to share. Read the various threads here and ask questions as they come up or add info if you can.

You will do fine with either manufacturer but I must say i am a bit biased on the Tiffins.

Good luck and enjoy the adventure!

Sorry to hear of the Excursion's fate, and glad the trailer got a good home.
