Hello from Dean0
Good day everyone. Just joined the forum and wanted to introduce myself. My wife and I purchased a 1996 Newmar Mountain Aire 4059 DP last week and are pretty excited about it. The coach is in pretty decent shape but, needs a good detailing inside and out. There have been some modifications to it over the years so I am still trying to figure things out. I must say it runs and drives very well. I have never owned a DP motorhome before and have always wanted one. Luckily, most of the service manuals were included with the coach so I don't have to hunt for them on the internet. Unfortunatley, there were no service records so I will have to treat it like it has not been serviced for some time.
Prior to this we restored a 1978 Airstream which required a ton of work. I guess I will have to let the silver bullet go in the spring. We won't be fulltiming in the unit as I am still working full time. However, we plan to use it as often as possible. We have already stayed in it two nights last week right after we bought it. I was amazed at how warm it stayed inside using the heat strips even though it is winter here.
Anyway, I look forward to conversing with members on the forum. I'm sure I will have a lot of questions as this is all foreign to me.
Safe travels,
Dean

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I have already been checking out the Newmar owners forum. There is a ton of great information on here. Now I just need all this snow to melt so I can get out and have fun with the coach.
Take care,
Dean
