Hello,
I grew up camping in tents - Class A's and I now finally have a fifth wheel It is a 1996 Jayco Eagle 263rk that had a hole in the roof when I bought it a month ago...
Well I started tearing into the repairs needed for the new rig before it is Camp/Road Ready... I have my work cut out for me but, tis ok and will be well worth the effort
I tore the cabinets and paneling out today... I will also be giving the walls a fresh coat of paint... Here are a few pics of what I have done so far...
Before cutting.. After..
Plus I sealed up the back seam and dug out the other rear molding sealant and sealed that as well.. All I have to do is put the molding back up now that the roof patch was put on just before dark...
From last week.....
Put down endurabond on the back seamInstalled the molding on the rear corner Just waiting on the quart of liquid roof to seal the seam between the new and old EPDM and around a couple other places Stay tuned... there will be more to come!!! And so you don't think this rig was a total wreck here are a couple of pics from when I bought it, the previous owner had removed some of the paneling and cabinets and decided it was too much of a hassle sooooooooo I was able to get a really good deal on a really nice rig that had a little water damage in the back. But the rest of the rig is in great shape!! __________________

The project of today....The Eternabond arrived, so I got up on the roof and I taped up the seams on the roof repair then got to work on the rear vent area... the tape or whatever it was around the vent looked like crap.. So I removed all the old crap and cleaned the area then applied the Eternabond..
