Hello from Granbury, TX

Hi, an Old Newbie here. Was a member along time ago and got lost in the shuffle but back in the fold now. We just gave up 12+ years of Full Time RVin. Loved every minute of it. North in the summers and south in the winters. Would it be any other way??? Wife said time to find a permanent home. Licked our finger and stuck it on the map of US and came up with Granbury, TX. Lovely little town. Bought the house and sold our rig in same month (Apr 2010). Sad to say good-bye to our 07 40ft Travel Supreme 4-slide 5ver that we had special ordered. Pulled great behind our 05 Ford F350 Diesel Dually CrewCab. They are making someone else very happy now. But with RVin in our blood, we are now the proud owners of a little R-Vision Trail-Lite Bantam B21 hybrid. A change your ask---Duh-a big change but we are still enjoying it. TV is our Dodge Dakota CrewCab or our Jeep Liberty. We hope to do a lot of outings in/around our new home town and around the state of Texas. If you spot us in a campground or Corp park, stop and say "Hi".

Welcome to Granbury. My wife and I have lived just outside of Granbury since 1987 and have enjoyed it. We both retired last year and are spending a few months each year traveling. We have been gone for about 35 days on this trip and are currently we are in New Brunswick waiting out the rain from hurricane Earl before we start our return trip back to Granbury. Again, welcome to Granbury and trust you will enjoy the community!

I love Granbury- used to live there back in the late '70s. Worked for the Brazos River Authority at DeCordova Bend Dam. Went through there last Sept. while on vacation---- wow, has it GROWN.
