Hello from Hermes
Hello,
Heather and I are retired Australians in the US for a couple of years to spend some time with our son in California and also visiting the National Parks of the US and Canada.
We are now the proud owners of a 2012 model Tiffin Allegro Breeze 32BR which we have dubbed 'Hermes' after the Greek god of travel.
Our Breeze also came with a Blue Ox hitch and a Brakemaster air-actuated proportional brake for a tow car.
We are yet undecided on whether to buy a tow car, and if so which one, and for the moment are happy to build our skills in using and caring for Hermes.
We very much look forward to learning from the collective knowledge and wisdom of the forum members and we hope we can cross tracks with some during our travels.
Cheers
Greg & Heather

Welcome and glad to meet you!
Definitely get a toad. A Jeep 4X4 might be best if you like to see the scenic areas in the mountains, many of which are only accessible by ATV or 4X4 with high ground clearance. Plus, it is a real PITA getting groceries and such without a toad.

A toad will make your travels soooo much better. There are many many places and things to see that require a car of some sort. Search for "Dingy towing guide" for a pretty complete list of cars and trucks that can be towed four down. The "Remco" site also has a good list as well.
What part of Australia are you from?
