Hello from Michigan

Hi Everybody,

We just bought a new but previous model year RV about 6 weeks ago and are excited to be newbie RVers!

So far we have gone to Florida to pick something up and now we are in the UP of Michigan on the way to South Dakota.

Getting used to RV life but we like it!

Looking forward to reading the discussions on here.

Welcome to the forum!
Glad you joined...

Hope you keep enjoying the RV life!

If You make it over to Ontonagon they have a County RV park right on Lake Superior. We really enjoyed our stay there. No frills, just a beautiful location.

Thanks Larry, will look that up for future trip, this one already booked. We are at the Kritters Campground in Newberry, we will be moving on (going to South Dakota) tomorrow. We went to Tahquamenon Falls yesterday and Whitefish Point museum today. Our route goes through Marquette where my son knows some great places to view Lake Superior. The next RV park we are going to is Lake Michigamme, from there the next one is Minnesota, then SD.

We stayed at Kritters also and did the same day trip.
Marquette is a nice sized town but we could not find an opening in an RV park there so we stayed in Gwinn, just south of Marquette.

We did the Pictured Rocks boat tour out of Munising... Kind of pricey but we enjoyed it.

Enjoy your trip!
