Hello from Minnesota

So excited to be a member of the Class B RV group! We purchased only 6 days ago, setting up and checking out all of the goodies! So much to learn. I'm sure I will visit here often. Starting with this question? Is this how an awning should look? We don't think that this is the proper angle, it literally does not shade anything.

It is called a "Genesis Supreme". It's a Ford conversion van. Actually not sure how we should label it. I've only seen one or 2 others listed in any of the RV dealers for sale and they are listed as Class B, "Genesis Supreme" There is actually a youtube video out there by a dealer for this exact same unit. But there are more, just not sure how many. Thanks for asking. And thanks for the imput. We don't think is is correct either.

Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Congrats on the new rig! Keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

It looks too high because it's mounted on the angled Top Cap. If you turn the picture you'll see it's really going straight out from the housing. The only way I can see to get it straight out from the coach or even at a slight angle down would be to remount it to the cap on an angle.
An interesting task for a first time owner.
Remember.....Once you fix it it's really yours. ;-)
