Hello from Minnesota

We are Bob and Lee Anne, two retired folks who reside for most of the year in Minnesota (close to the grandchildren). We got into RVing so we could spend some time snow birding someplace other than -20 degrees Fahrenheit. We like to travel but tire quickly of eating out and sleeping in dirty motel rooms. This past winter we spent in three places in Texas. Fulton, Canyon Lake and a State campground north of Dallas. So, we experienced a private campground, a Corps of Engineers park and a state campground. I can say nice things about all three but they are certainly different in terms of amenities, size of lot, cost etc. We are currently planning a trip to the Black Hills in June. It is nice to have a friendly site to share information. Have a nice day all of you.

Bob & Lee Anne:

Hi from Tampa & WELCOME TO THE GANG!!

My wife, Lynette, and I retired out of Duluth, Minnesota in 05 and have been on the road ever since and lovin the heck out of it. Sold the house and a ALL the "stuff" and are now full timing for real. Where in Minn. are ya from???? When do you plan on visiting the Black Hills?? My wife's family and home is Mitchell, SD so we have our residency there, but spend quite a bit of time in the Black Hills as we like it so much!! We're members at Hart Ranch just SE of Rapid City near Rushmore, a great resort for RV'rs.

Anyway, enjoy your travels and maybe we'll run into you guys down the road sometime. And, again, WELCOME to the iRV2 site. You'll like it!!
