Hello from Nashville TN!

So we don't own anything related to RVing yet, but we plan on leaving in 4 months.

We are a family of 7 (Hubby, myself, dd11, dd9, ds5, ds2, and my special needs sister) and our big dream is to do this full time, but we will start off with 3 months first. We have always home schooled our kids, and hubby is a computer programmer who can telecommute. We have talked about doing this on and off for the past couple of years, and now the time is right. SO here we go! We just need to get a few things first - like an RV.

My advice is to look, and look. I'm sure you'll find what will fit your needs. Just keep a open mind when your looking because they all appear to be able to fit your needs but the more you look the more you'll notice what will really work. Good luck with your search.

Hi rosedolf and family,

Welcome to the forum! Sounds like you are going to need a bunkhouse RV. Will give you two extra beds that can often be closed off and maybe used as a study area too. Would be great studying the states and traveling around the battle fields as you teach about them.

Best of luck and ask questions if you want to know something specific. Check all the forum threads listed above to find what you need.

Glad that you joined us here.

Sounds like you're gonna have a full house. However, with the right RV it is doable and could be lots of fun.

I wish you the best. Good luck with your search, and Happy Trails!!!
