Hello from New England

Hi all, I’ve been reading on here for about a year now and figured it was time to sign up. My wife and I bought a gulf Stream class C in December. Thanks to this forum we were more than prepared for getting our RV. We made our first trip with it late in December. A 2 week jaunt to South Carolina and the outer banks on the way back. Long trip for the first one but honestly we were extremely prepared thanks too many of you on this site. We bought from a very small dealer and to be honest I knew more about the RV then they did. I was fully prepared to fix all the faults from the factory (there were many) I am well versed in mechanical, electrical and plumbing. I could write a small book about the things I repaired (not done yet) but we are enjoying so far! Planning another trip south for mid February. I didn’t mind re doing the winterizing :laugh

Welcome from another New Englander.

After reading here for a year or so prior to jumping in I too felt quite at ease.
