Hello from Newbie in Illinois

Hello,

Just recently purchased a used travel trailer, and was doing some research online and discovered this sight.

We live in Southern Illinois and have several nice lakes and campgrounds within driving distance.

The wife and I were all set to purchase a new travel trailer, but by chance, we came across a Fleetwood Wilderness 23 foot Travel Trailer that's in absolutely excellent condition.

So, we bought it versus spending big bucks on a new one.

After reviewing the site and the forums, this looks like a pretty good resource for good information.

Thanks

Dale

It sounds like your getting off to a pretty good start. As you've already found out there is a ton of information here.

Sounds good. I work at 2nd street in St Louis, so I know the MO side of the river very well.

My trailer is stored at Gray's RV Storage off 127 in Carlyle right now. I'll be there a lot this year, so maybe we'll meet up.

Sounds good, we'll be at Carlyle but not sure of which site yet. I'll send you PM once we have all plans made. Do you have a BLOG on this site? I'm going to create one and list the trips we plan to take with pics of my rig as well.

By the way, based on you username I gather you have a stepside....I have a 1964 Chevy C10 LWB Stepside that I did a complete frame off restoration on......

I had a 75 gmc c15 shortbed step side "muscle truck". You should check out the Midwest classic chevy/ gmc truck club.

Thanks, will do. My truck isn't finished just yet, but I'm pretty close.
