Smile Hello from Newbie New Englanders

Hello irv2 community from sunny and cold New England. Exploring as much irv2 forum knowledge as possible - now that my wife and I have retired and become recent owners of a teardrop travel trailer. We will be taking "Rosebud" on a shakedown cruise this June; starting in Rutland, VT and landing back home in Cohasset (~11 miles south of Boston) MA. Wondering if anyone can share their Vermont camping in June experiences and any (much-appreciated) suggestions.

Looking forward to learning from and sharing with this active and informs community!

Hey Dan

I’m new to the site as well. I’m also an Rv technician. Let me know if you have any questions regarding your Rv. I’d be happy to help!

Thanks AccurateRv!

Hoping to minimize preventable problems while working on my, room-for-improvement, not everything is a crisis response. I'm trying to read and absorb as much as I can, while recognizing that there is a list of things I don't know that I don't know

Thanks again for your offer - I'm sure to take you up on it!

On your way home, drop down into western Ma. to Hinsdale MA on RT 8. Just outside of Pitsfield. Come see us at Fernwood Forest Campground. We seasonal there in the summer 4 months. Very laid back no frills kind of place. No concrete to be seen. Lots of trees. No pool, no camp store. There is a bath house and plavilian. Laundry too. LOL. From there you can pick up the mass pike at exit 2 or 3.

Welcome to the forum.

You are joining a good group of folks here with good info to share. I learned how to ski in your area (Killington) a thousand years ago

Enjoy the adventure!

Thanks cavie we'll check out the Fernwood Forest Campground website. Not certain we'll be coming back via western Mass or heading up to Maine and back down 95 to 128, but will definitely look you up if we stop and spend some time in the Berkshires.
