Hello from NH!
I’ve been lurking for a couple of years gathering all kinds of RV info from this site. The Lady Who Let’s Me Live With Her (aka SWMBO - She Who Must Be Obeyed) and I are starting to travel now that we’ve both retired. A huge shout out to all of the contributors who’ve indirectly solved many of the problems we’ve encountered over the years - thank you!
We’ve had virtually every type of camper there is with the exception of a pop-up and a slide in. Our first camper was a 1986 Minnie Winnie class C we got in the early ‘90’s when we were stationed in Alaska with the Air Force. We transitioned to a ‘92 Bounded Class A when we left Alaska and sold that in 1999 when my wife and I both retired from the AF. Fast forward to ‘01 when I took a job in Alaska, and we purchased a Keystone Bobcat 32’ pull behind trailer. We had that until 2005 when we went back to the Class C world with a new Keystone Leprechaun that we held until 2013 when we left Alaska for Texas due to a job transfer. We purchased a 2012 Keystone Raptor when we got to Texas, and kept it until last fall when We purchased a used Holiday Rambler Endeavor. We like the layout, I love the drivetrain (Cummins ISL with the Allison tranny), and it was in good shape. Already had some new lessons with the HD platform, and we’re doing a lot of upgrades, but this website has been a godsend. Again, thanks, happy to be on board!
