Hello all, I have been lurking around for a month or so here. I thought that I might want to say Hi to all. Hi.
My Wife and I started RV'ing in 1999. We bought a Komfort 27' 3 (small) slides. We soon realized that this trailer was not exactally what we wanted. So we traded it in on a 2000 Alfa Ideal 30' 3 slides. That trailer has been good to us, however as with all things, time to move up. Now we have a 2006 Carriage Carri-Lite 35xtrm5 that we have takend out for a couple of weekend trips. We are getting ready for a two week trip soon. We knew that our Dodge 2500hd (rated to tow 13K) would not be up to the task once we loaded, well, anything. So recently we purchased a 2001 Ford F-450. I feel much better with that towing our new trailer. Other hobbies include (for me) RC Helicopters, HAM radio, and just about anything electrionic. My Wife likes quilting, making glass beads (lampworking), making beaded jewlery, making paper and scrap booking as well as many other crafty type hobies.

I look forward to being a basically quiet contibuter once in awhile. and I will be posting questions in the 5th wheel area as well.

-Eric
