Hello from Pittsburgh

Hello all. My wife and I have decided we are going to start RVing, just mostly weekend trips. I also want to be able to tow #10k on occasion. We are looking at used Diesel Pushers in the $70k-$80k range. Most of the coaches in this price range seem to be 10-12 years old. From doing some research I know to look at service history, age of tires, and age of batteries. What other things do I need to ask when speaking with the seller? Are there certain brands to stay away from?
We are going to look at a 2006 Newmar Ventana this Saturday. I have already looked at a 2005 Winnebago Vectra. Also considering going to see a 2005 Fleetwood Destination. All of these rigs can tow #10k and have a C-7 Cat. Diesel Pushers in my price range are hard to come by around my area, so I have to travel hours to see any. So any questions that I can ask to save me a trip would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the family

We're next door neighbors from NE. OHio.

I have heard of people looking to buy used pushers traveling many miles for what their looking for. Once you see a few in person, you will start to see wast your money buys. Many are trading in for new rigs, so a bunch will come on the market very soon.

So the largest inventory will be in the next couple months? I feel like my choices are so limited at this point, almost like I have to settle on something.
Another question I have is as far as keeping the most value over the life of a 10 year loan, is a pusher the age that I'm looking at going to be one of the best choices for us?
