Hello from Shreveport, LA
Karen and I are both retired and fairly newly weds, less than 2 years. I have owned RV's for many years, but was only able to use them on weekends with a few week long trips thrown in a couple times a year. It is nice to be able to go when you want to. No more run like the devil to get there, hurry and see everything you can and run back home so you can get back to work tomorrow.
We have a 2007 34 foot River Canyon fiver with 3 slides, 2 AC, fireplace, washer/dryer and added an icemaker pulled by a 2007 Dodge Mega Cab 4 wheel drive dually that has been stretched 20 inches and an 8 foot bed added.
We travel with 3 dogs and I built a portable dog pen for them out of PVC and chain link fence parts.
We belong to 2 RV clubs here in Shreveport, the Hayride Sams and the Louisiana Drifters.
