Hello from South Carolina

We are new here. We did the tent camping deal for about 5 years. Moved up to a pop up about 7 years ago. This week, we take delivery of our first motor home. A friend is selling us their 1989 Coachmen Sportscoach Pathfinder DL S. It has 65,000 miles, new tires, new brakes, new water heater, new refrigerator, all roof covers replaced, new TV antenna crank, entire roof resealed. Clean and in top shape. We also do Pirate reenacting and living history as 1700's pirates. We work with schools, museums and other organizations. The RV will be a great help in this area as well as being able to travel. We look forward to making new friends here and on the roads. Hope to see you there. Drive safe!

Thanks, we live in the great metropolis of Swansea, SC!

Will be going to Georgetown for the weekend as we closed the loan today and bring the coach home tomorrow evening. Next weekend, we will hit a state park nearby, either Aiken or Barnwell, since both are close and gas is climbing again.

Welcome aboard. Friendlyest group you'll ever encounter and a wealth of information. BTW, love, love, love Santee Cooper State Park. 2 hr. drive for us and we can't get enough of it.

Oh yea! Santee is a great park. Stayed there in the pop-up a couple of times. An hour away from us. Looking forward to hitting that one up again in style with the motor home. Maybe we will see you there!

We went through AllSouth Federal Credit union. They said the age didn't matter. They said a Motor Home was good collateral.

We got 7.25% for 48 months. They financed 100%. We got the coach for $7,900. We had to pay, sales tax, property tax & tags out of pocket, right at $600. Our credit scores are in the mid 700's.
