Cool Hello From St Paul

We have had our 2012 Winnebago Vista for a year now. Lots of fun/adventure last summer. We just recently retired and our ready to head south (tomorrow). Weather is not our friend this week, but looks like we are going to tough it out. Looking forward to all the fun and info on the Forum.

We'll end up in Gulf Shores, Alabama beginning of March. Probably bum around Louisiana till then. Maybe Galveston, Tx. Will visit friends in Fl in April before heading back to the North Country.

I noticed you have a Demco KarKaddy III. I bought mine last Feb. How do you like it? I have not had the best luck.

Will you be headed down I-35? We plan to stop at the Lakeside Casino the first night. Will be cold, but not looking to push it the first day.

We are on our second Demco and have had no problems. We are headed first of all to Oklahoma City. We will spend a few days there and then on south to eventually Tuscon.

Is Lakeside Casino the one in Southern Iowa. If so we stayed there last Winter. No water or sewer of course, but they do have electric and supposedly a bus to the casino. We carry gallon jugs of water with us to use the bath room and clean up. After OKC we can usually de winterize.

I just looked and Lakeside at Osceola Iowa is the one. We most likely will be there tomorrow night as well.

The most irritating thing is the plastic rivets on the plastic fenders. They pop off quite easily. Have replaced most of them with screws.
Osceola, Iowa. Heard about it from friends. Easy in and easy out I understand. Good for a one-nighter.

We'll be leaving from south of Lakeville in the morning. Ours is a white Journey with light brown trim and a vermillion VW Passat.
