Hello from SW Washington

Been RVing for years but are new to this forum. I retired in 04 and we wintered in Arizona. I got offered a job I could not pass up in 05 so we are un-retired and are back to RVing weekends to where ever the weather looks good. The coast, Olympic Peninsula, Eastern WA. We just traded in our 10 year old gas coach for a new diesel pusher. Tarie, the pug and I did a 1300 mile shakedown run up to B.C. then across Canada for a few days. We came back into Idaho and worked our way home making it a week long trip. The coach then went into the shop for the list of problems, most minor, and to install the washer/dryer.

WELCOME Bob, Tarie & Pug

Nice to have another SW WA member! I hope that you enjoy the forum and post often.

That sounds like a fantastic 'shakedown' trip, I am envious! Intend to take a trip into BC sometime. Everyone that I know- who's gone- loved it and said how beautiful it is

Welcome from Silverdale...We do have several events up here for making sure that we get to meet each other personally and not just on the internet.
Lot's of places to camp in our beautiful area and not just in the summer. Some of the best times are rainey weekends at the beach, etc.

We are looking forward to it. We spent many rainey weekends at the beach watching the storms from the bluff at our regular campground on the Long Beach peninsula. We may not fit with the new bigger rig but will be checking that out in a few weeks.

Welcome to the forum! I know what you mean about not fitting with a bigger rig. We are almost 60' in total length and are considering adding a swivel wheel trailer for our motorcycle cargo trailer (we're riding Route 66 on the motorcycles this spring).
