Hello from Texas!!!
I've owned a Dutchmen Travel Trailer for a few years, then in '09, I upgraded to a '09 Montana 10th Anniversary 3075. I also bought a '09 GMC Sierra Duramax w/ Allison Transmission to pull this. I've had 3 blowouts w/ Goodyear Marathons...I've since bought a Tire Minder monitoring system and watch my tire pressure like a hawk. My family and I love to travel and camp...but not too far. Mainly to the coast (Port Aransas), a few of the rivers and lakes around here...and especially at Lake LBJ - at the Heart of Texas resort. We've been going there going on 16 years! We love the water - oh yeah...we own a boat, too. And also have a 2000 Club Car golf cart that I've added a "few" upgrades to. By joining this forum, I hope to hear about other's experiences and try to fix a few of the problems I've had for a while...and those that just seem to show up.

Glad to have you here on iRV2. Yo will want to upgrade the tires on the trailer to a higher load rating, provided the rims are rated for a higher tire pressure. The trialer manufacturers put the absolute minimum tire possible to get the trailer to the dealer. Most of them wil be right at the tire limits when any load is put in the trailer. Also, stay away from any Chinese manufactured tires...often marked PRC...Peoples Repubic of China.
Start by weighing the trailer and get individual side weights to see how close you are to the tire limits. The Marathons have a poor service history.
