Just joined the group and excited to read about everyone's travels. We had a few motorhomes and pull behinds over the years with the kiddos growing up. Now we are retired and purchased our first diesel pusher. We looked for about a year finding the perfect one.

NICE RIG! So where do you live in Texas? Or are you a full timer? I live in Houston but am currently in the San Antonio area at Medina Lake (actually Medina PUDDLE). Check out the Texas Boomers! http://www.irv2.com/forums/f79/texas...ly-141321.html We are a great group.

Welcome to the group. Y'all still getting $2 for armadillos down there. Robert Earl put ya on the map! We're up here north of Dallas and have enjoyed the group here. I'm sure you will too. And if ya haven't heard Mr Keen give him a listen. He's the real deal.

Hi Barbara, we are living at our ranch house right out of Hallettsville between Houston and San Antonio at this time. Just sold our house in Tyler, Tx during the summer and looking around the Katy area for a house now. So we just got back Monday from Kerrville. We have been down to Galveston several times to stay on the beach. Thinking we might head down to Aransas Pass for a few days. We will look into Texas Boomers. Thanks for the info

Not sure if Robert Earl put us on the map but I like him. He might have had a little help from Willie or George. Yep lots of armadillos down here in Texas along with wild hogs and coyotes. It's deer season right now so lots of shooting going on too. Maybe a good time to be gone in the MH until hunting season is over.

GRIFF - lol - the reference was to the song Armadillo Jackal and the line "they pay $2.50 down in Hallettsville" for armadillos - see now your from up this way - but glad to hear Robert Earl is on the listening list

You have a nice sounding schedule ahead of you! Good luck in your travels and house hunting! Keep your head down in hunting season has always seemed to be good advice.

Hello from Texas City (they ran out of names), and welcome.

I'm sure we'll meet up some day.
