Hello from Texas

My wife and I are in our 60s and want to stay on site of places we visit. We are in what I would call the beginning stages of our search though we have been looking around at different things already.
We are looking for travel trailer likely not more than 25' and light enough to pull with my 1/2 ton pickup. It will be used primarily in State/National parks. I do wildlife photography with an emphasis on birds due to their availability everywhere so visit sites for those activities. While room is nice, we spend more time outdoors so we are not needing the Taj Mahal. Never realized there were so many manufacturers. Make the eyes glaze over when looking through them all.

Welcome to iRV2

Depending on how much of a hurry you're in to buy, if you can wait and the Covid co-operates there are several RV shows that are withing reach of you. The closest would be in Houston, then San Antonio and Ft Worth. RV shows are a great place to look as you can compare them side by side. Most manufacturers will be represented and you can narrow down your list.

Good luck with your search. Be sure to check out our Travel Trailer forum too.

I appreciate the welcomes. I am narrowing in on the brands we are going to look at. We are not opposed and would prefer a used unit. I plan to do a bit of exploring and reading here.
