Hello from Texas

I came across this forum while looking for parts and info on getting my coach into shape to use again. Looks like there are alot of people here with alot of knowledge that would be helpful. I've learned alot just browsing these forums. I decided I would join and say HI to all!
Just a bit about me & my situation:

I bought my RV ( 98 Damon Ultrasport 36' 275 HP Cat, Freightliner chassis ) new in 1999. It's not a luxuary coach, no slides, but nice enough for me. Long story short, things happen and it's been sitting idle for several years under a 41" opensided shed on concrete slab. I was able to keep the engine and trans somewhat decent shape by continually starting it, moving back & forward in the driveway and doing minor maintance. About a year ago I finally got things back to where I hope to start using it again. The biggest problem I have found so far is electrical under the dash, connections don't look corroded, but they don't connect... lol
New tires, batteries, the list goes on & on.
So, again Hi from Texas, hope to hear from you soon !

Smile

Thanks for the replies, seems to be a great place to hang out.
UPDATE:
I got the M/H out and been running it some, got my tow setup and for the most part everything seems good.
The biggest problem I have right now seems to be some sort of relay or connection between the key switch and the starter. I have all new batteries on the coach and still when I turn the switch there is nothing, no clicking, no nothing. I wired in a remote start switch close to the battery box and with key on, it starts fine.
Can someone point me to the best catagory here to post in and get some helpful info on this type of problem? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Target

I found and posted this question in the Freightliner chassis section

Target, I can't help with your MH question (TT guy). However, I would like to give you a great TEXAS welcome from the Dallas area. Hope you find the answers you need.
