Just wanted to jump on and say hello! Husband and I live in Clover South Carolina with our teenage daughter and almost 22yr old son. A LOT has happened the last couple of years that hasn't been easy, but gave me a new perspective on life! Family has always been number 1 to me, but I realize even more now than ever how every single day is a gift and I feel the need to life each to the fullest!! I have always wanted to RV, and last year we were able to get our first RV! We rented a few before buying, even though I knew I wanted a 5th wheel Haha What I should have done (if I could find one to rent) was rent a toy hauler first... but, that's ok. Next 5th wheel will be a toy hauler so long as we're still riding motorcycles! We were able to find a beautiful, very well maintained, even still smells like new, 2021 Sprinter 35bh. I absolutely love it!!! It made the most sense to me after much research and looking when my budget went down by $10k... was a little upsetting, but I fell in love with our RV and knew it was the right call when I walked inside! We LOVE to travel, love the outdoors (even in the sweltering hot summers..), and there are SOOOOOO many places I want to go! I'd love to start bringing in some money remotely to be able to hel out more and travel more at the same time!!! I'm looking at ways that I may be able to do this. We definitely need to be home as well (not RVing fulltime), but I'd like to try and get out for even a weekend trip once a month... Maybe longer trips every couple or few months. I absolutely love going to Kentucky!! It's so beautiful and I am a bit of a rockhound who is on a mission to find some of that good Kentucky agate!! I'm originally from the West Coast, and the husband is originally from Denmark (the country), though he has been stuck with me for the last 16 years Hehehe i know we have much to learn, but feel like we've gotten a great start! We have a trip to Kentucky down with our new to us 5th wheel, and a trip down to Girard area in Georgia. On the way to Kentucky we experienced what a tire blowout is like.. and I'm thankful how fortunate we were with this!!!!! There was no damage to the trailer, but did need to put the underbelly back up in a small area. Think the worst part of that was the over 3hr wait on I75 shortly after a corner... We learned about seed ratings, to give the tires breaks to cool down here and there, etc... let's say that. The truck was just pulling the rv like it was nothing.. lol doesn't mean you should.
Hope everyone has a great week, and look forward to engaging with you all here!
