Hello From the Mountains of East Tennessee

Hello All,
I grew up with a "camper" spending many summers and weekends in a 1967 Serro Scotty travel trailer. Funny as a child how it didn't seem cramped. I enjoyed the outdoors and travel so much, I decided when I retired I would purchase an RV and travel. Then a few months ago I accidently sold the house I was living in... it happens. Rather than renting an apartment I decided to go ahead and purchase an RV so a 2020 33'RET North Trail Caliber Travel Trailer, got the nod. I parked it at the local lake and moved in full time. Wow! other than the downsizing of stuff I had built up over the years, my stress level decreased and I knew that I had made the right decision. I guess I should have also mentioned, I didn't have a truck, another cart before the horse kind of thing. I started shopping for a truck to trade my Jeep in on when the better half said we love the Jeep what about a motorhome and we tow the Jeep? I lived in the TT until November and traded it in for a 2006 Newmar Ventana 3936 Motorhome. We went with a solid unit that we could make our own. And searching on topics on how to make it ours, I discovered irv2. So here I am introducing myself to the group. We are in the process of doing our makeovers and upgrades now. We both have the ability to work remote, we are now planning to travel and work, rather than waiting until retirement. I am really enjoying reading the forums.
