Welcome fellow PNWer. First thing you need to digure out is budget. What ever money your planning think of it like throwing all of it in the garbage.
Once you have that firmly in your mind, decide what type, age your budget allows. Then start looking at every floor plan you can find. Narrow the floor plan down using the " how will it fit our life living in it long term. This is important. Pretend your sleeping, taking a shower, using the toilet, eating, mwhere will you put clothes. Well you get the idea. Once you have the floor plan narrowed down start shopping for the best one you can find in your price range. Then its all about condition.

Hi Donn!
Thanks for the reply. I think my wife and I need to go to some RV shows to see what we may come to an agreement on? I’m liking the VanLeigh type 5th wheels, she’s more an airstream type! Si we’ll see... much research to do.

If your looking at fivers first thing, be postive you have enough truck. Remember with fivers pin weigjt can be as much as 25% of its loaded weight.
As for what? I favor Northwood or OutdoorRV products. Both made in or near LaGrande,OR and are really stout.
