Hello from the UK

Hi everyone,
Jane and I have owned and used tents, tow campers, static caravans and smaller motorhomes. In 2008 we spent six months in the USA, purchasing a 1989 Gulfstream C Class, trailer and motorcycle, then travelled from Tampa through the lower states to California and return. Finally selling everything and returning to the UK. (see blog of our times at JANTON)
Now we have just purchased,in the UK, a 1997 Four Winds Hurricane 27R. It only has 26,000 miles on the clock and has been converted to run on LPG. It still has all the 112 volt sockets which are powered through a 240v/112v transformer. We also have multiple 240v sockets around the RV powered from a Hook Up, or when boondocking a 240v invertor from the leasure batteries, these are kept topped up by the two solar panels on the roof.
So we are really looking forward to trips in the future whether they be long or short, so the forum will possibly come in handy if problems occur.
Tony & Jane
