Hello from the UK.
Good morning from the UK.
My name is John and I'm married to Civita.
We live in a lovely part of the UK called Somerset and have had our 2008 National Seabreeze from new when she was imported from Lazy Days by a company over here called "Ichy Feet"
We're busy getting ready to go over to Spain for a month to escape the awful British weather and grab some winter sunshine.
If anybody is interested I will post whilst in Spain regarding our travels and experiences.
Hopefully they will be positive ones.

A big thank you for making us feel welcome.
I'm in the middle of packing my wifes clothes and jewelery at the moment  and its pouring down with rain,at least we're not flooded like our neighbours up the road !

No channel tunnel for us Bruce.
We are sailing from the port of Portsmouth to Santander in Northern Spain.
Also we are not allowed to use the tunnel as we are LPG (liquid petroleum gas) powered.
Friends who are in Spain at the moment advised us to use the ferry rather than drive down through France and over the Pirennese mountain range due to the road conditions.
When we tour France we have to use the many cross channel ferries.

Sorry in advance if anyone thinks this is an odd request...but hear me out.
The OP has an American Class A RV that is "LPG powered." This set-up is currently available from Ford on the Triton 6.8L V10 for mfgt upfitters...And, I believe that LPG and CNG/LNG will be a big part of future RV's and other large on the road vehicles.
So to the OP, in addition to hearing all about traveling Europe by RV, I would LOVE to read anything that could be shared about the technical side of the travels...mileage, how the RV shares LPG between the house and chassis, maint routine, how different countries provide fueling services...etc.
Many folks say that what is normal on the roads of Europe will come to the US - just give it 15-20 years. Well, we have the Sprinter van...Ford and Chrysler are bringing their Eurovans to the US as 2015 models...and who doesn't love the luxury cars from Europe, so I believe it could be true.

Thanks Steve,Great post.
A lot of the petrol Rv's in this country are Lpg powered.Its roughly half the price of petrol but the conversion can cost up to four thousand pounds 
You can buy a hell of a lot of petrol for that money.
Usually the dealer will throw in the conversion free as a sweetener to buy the rv.
Miles per gallon wise you get slightly less with the Lpg but bear in mind as stated before its half the price.
As for the conversion mines an Italian make(can't remember)and its never missed a beat. I have two tanks for the engine and a smaller one for the habitation side.
Lpg is readily available in the Uk and most of France but we've heard in Spain and Portugal its not so.I'll fill up when I see it and run on petrol when Lpg not available.
If anyone is interested I'll post regarding the fuel situation and the positives and negatives touring in Spain,I do expect there will be both.
