Hello from the Walmart parking lot :-)
I was searching for the best place to register my MH and found this great site. What suggestions do you all have on that topic?

Hi and welcome to the forum.
I believe that state law usually dictates where your vehicles are to be registered and it varies by state. I would start with reading up on Wyoming's requirements since that appears to be your domicile.
The primary exception I know of is the formation of a LLC... often times based in Montana. Even this is getting controversial though with so many states tight on funds, many are challenging the legality of LLCs which they determine have been established for the sole purpose of avoiding/evading state taxes. I've read that some states are even offering a "bounty" for neighbors who report those owning vehicles with out of state plates.
Use our search feature and you'll find a month's worth of reading on this topic and get a flavor for just how controversial it has become.

Hi and Welcome to IRV2! It's good to have you with us! Have you tried the Customer Service Counter at Wal-Mart? Good luck, have fun, and God bless!

MH registration
Thanks all. I forgot to mention that taxes are not a concern for me. I am 100% VA disabled. I have sold my home in Wyoming and the motor vehicle taxes are sky high her so now that I have to pick a part time home, I am considering NM. More comments please.

Arizona registration is based on value, not purchase price so beware.

Some states won't let you "pick" a part time residence state. If you're there for over so long (some are 30 days) then you're a "resident" and need to pay taxes on your income. I think some even tax VA benefits although I'm not sure about that. I do know OR taxed my fathers Navy retirement.
CA is one that going after everyone they can, and WA isn't far behind with prosecuting LLC's.
However I'd sure check with an attorney in what ever state you're considering to be sure you cover all the bases! Even then there's no guarantee that it'll keep you out of court. I know WA prosecuted one couple that had an LLC, cost them at least $25,000 plus fees and they had an LLC drawn up and administered by an attorney. The copy I have is redacted so I can't tell who the attorney was but I assume it was in MT.
