You don't have to travel far living in Washington. I was just there on a vacation. Loved your state parks, we stayed in a few on our travels. The web site is great, showing parks with open sites and even allows picking/reserving a site from a campsite map!
Washington State Parks Home Page
We later traveled through Colorado, their states website was full of broken links and disconnected phone numbers. Quite a contrast!

Welcome from NH. I am new to this site as well but also not new to RVing. We have had a Coleman pop-up camper, a 35' Nomad travel trailer, a 32' Nomad fifth wheel, a Winnebago 35' Adventurer Class A MH, a 39' Holiday Presidential fifth wheel, a 31' Jayco Greyhawk Class C MH, and now have a 2011 38' Itasca Sunova Class A MH and tow a 2011 Ford Explorer. Not retired yet but will be in 4.5 years.

Thanks everone for the Welcome.
We have lived in this state for over 60 years and still have not seen every thing there is to see.
Natianal forest camp grounds are pretty cheap to stay at if you don't need hookups. Generally $5.00 to $8.00 a day with a senior pass that is $10.00 good for 7 or 8 years.

Welcome from an Anacortesian. We've lived in Washington state for all but two years since we came over from England in 1968. Now retired (30 years at Boeing and four years with Skagit Transit), and settled down near the water in Anacortes.
