Philip and I bought our Fleetwood Revolution LE three years ago with visions of trips with the grandkids and time away for the two of us. Not a good experience in purchasing the RV due to a disreputable dealer, but we've tried to make the best of all the issues that have reared. Recently, the vision's been a little ugly due to some coach issues but, this too, shall pass....we hope
I am a retired educator and Phil is still working as an insurance salesman. We had wanted an RV all of our married life, talked about it but never went very far until we hooked up with a group of football fans called the RoadCats. They just had so much fun tailgating and despite their "horror" stories they made us laugh and see we could do it even if we didn't know anything about it.
It's been really wonderful to go from lugging around all our tailgating stuff in the back of a Suburban to the "luxury" of RV tailgating. Tailgating at Commonwealth Stadium with the RoadCats has been a blast and we have made some fabulous friends.
Now that our middle son is out of the army and living near us, we hope to get in those grandkids trips we talked about.
This forum has already been a HUGE help. We've got a water issue and had been given a pretty dire "diagnosis and treatment". The helpful folks here have suggested things we can do, research (which we learned the hard way) needed to be done up front and questions to ask.
I'd like to think that in the future, we'll know enough to offer some help and return the favor. Right now, about all I can offer is encouragement and some tailgating recipes!
Thank you for inviting us in RVers!
