I'm new to this site and so far am impressed by the content. My wife and I are retired and own a 2004 Prowler Regal 29-foot TT. At times we find that it's too long and have tried a couple of different times to downsize but am blown away at the cost and additional fees and charges that go along with the purchase of a new trailer, so we come back home disappointed. I suppose it's the fact that the dealers just don't want to give us a trade-in value that we believe our trailer is worth, despite the fact that we see what it's worth using the NADA website. Oh well...

Welcome to the site. I think dealers are prone to work with you in the off season not when spring arrives. Good luck, perhaps later in the year.

Then sell it on your own. I have done that twice with RV's and a boat. In fact the boat lasted 4 hours. Clean it up, take plenty of great pictures, price it correctly, put a great discription, and place it on craigslist. Be will to bargin some and you will sell it quickly and be off to look at a new one.

Welcome aboard and hope you enjoy the site. Good luck with your trailer shopping and hope it all works out. Try selling your trailer on your own. With the season right around the corner you might be surprized just how quick it may sell. Good Luck!
