Hello, not sure what else to put here :D
Anyway just wanted to post in here, get myself noticed if only for a brief moment.
I am by no means a noob to RV'ing as a whole, however my fiance is, I come from Georgia/Illinois. however she is from SE North Dakota, and we currently live in Central ND.
We just paid for a 1981 Fleetwood Tioga built on a 1979 Chevy G30 chassis. I will be putting a post in the Fleetwood product owners forum for specifics, but basically it has 4000 miles on an entire interior and chassis overhaul. But they let the engine run dry of oil after a oil change at a speedlube place, and now engine is siezed, I intend to attempt to recover the 6.6L if possible or just swap something else in. More on that later
Just a short list of the RV's, TT's, and 5th Wheels i/we have owned (PS we are 25/23 respectively, so many more to come)
1977 Dodge Champion by Titan 25ft Class A on M400 chassis with auxiliary towing axle
-360CI/3pd auto
-$1500
-snapped the driveshaft bc too much TQ(my fault lol) ended up eventually getting towed and scrapped before I could pay off the impound fees
1977 Midas Class C 24ft Built on GMC G35 Vandura Chassis
-6.6L V8 4bbl/TH400 4.10 rear
-fully loaded to 13,000 and towing a 25ft 1948 TT weighing around 7000lbs, I averaged 13MPG on 4 separate interstate moves while we were homeless.
-$500
-Parted it out, and made the rear 8ft a flatbed and moved the rear wall forward to make a "sleeper" cab of sorts.
-Sold to a neighbor when we bought our trailer house, he ended up scrapping it when he moved to CO
1996 33ft Bumper Pull Salem by Cobra
-This was by far our nicest one but the owner dissappeared off the map before delivering the title
-was vadalized 1 months ago in storage, no cameras and police said total loss
-$1400
1948 Aljo Travel Trailer
-$600
-Was actually pretty decent except PO allowed the water lines to freeze.
-very heavy and very awkward to tow with anything other than the G35 RV
-Sold to upgrade to the 33' TT, then found out it burned to the ground about a year ago because someone left a heater on.
1976 30FT bumper pull NoName
-Nothing special but was good enough to live out of for a good 8 months
1977 35ft 5th wheel
-Too long ago to recall name brand
-$700 was actually in very very nice shape for the year and price
-Sold because moving and no longer had 3/4 pickup w plate.
1952? Huwaie Travel Trailer, bumper pull ~3000lbs
-bought this past summer for visiting family during holidays
-remodeled as a WEFEST camper, so no appliances or bath/kitchen only a stove/microwave
-$300
-Selling in a few week to make room for the Class C we are getting next week.
-Improvements(fixed 110V so it didnt throw sparks everywhere, better tires, wired up the electric range, installed dresser and curtains)
1977 Venture Popup
-$100 at scrapyard
-used for 2 summer trips and decided too much effort to pop up/down and not enough room for what we wanted
-$50 sold to my boss to make an ATV trailer
Thats all I can recall for the time being.
Anyway I look forward to input this coming summer and hopefully many mor e!

That is a lot of RV's. You are young and must have been on your own since about 16. I am way older than you and owned 6 RV's and camped off the back of a motorcycle a few summers.
Enjoy the adventures because you will get old faster than you want. I KNOW THIS!!
