Hellooooooo ;)

New to forums.

Earlier this year purchased a 2021 Palomino SS-1251 truck camper that I use mainly for Scouting and Air Soft.

Last Wednesday flew out to CA and bought a 2010 Fleetwood Encounter 32BH on Thursday and drove it back to SC(~2800 miles) and got home Sunday with out a single issue with the RV. Unfortunately we didn't have time for a paid inspection to be done, but my dad and I had a huge checklist and spent about 5-6 hours going over everything.

Only upgrade to the Palomino is I added a 210W solar panel, MPTT, and 2000W inverter.

The Fleetwood has had quite a few upgrades including solar, koni shocks, sway bars, air-bags(I think Kelderman, not sure, at least the gauge says Kelderman) and safe-t-plus to name a few. The solar setup is old, 2013ish, so I'll be switching out to lighter panels and LiFePO4 batteris.

Mainly joined the forums to search for what else could be done about the harshness of the front end. CA and UT were the worst roads I have driven on in a while and wow, I knew it would be rough on a F53 chassis, but not that rough.

When we hit NV, it was sooo smoooooth, it was like a whole new RV. Planning on getting it aligned, re-adjusting the safe-t-plus and adding some centramatic rings.

Anyways, we have a short 4 day trip planned for this Thursday-Sunday near my sister in laws so that the kids can get a trip in before school starts backup.

The plan for summer 2023 with the in-laws is a 3-4 week trip around the country with the Fleetwood, was thinking of getting a Jeep to flat tow, but might try to talk one of the others into taking the Palomino with us too.
