Here we go!
Hello new family! We finally bought our first RV yesterday. Plan to spend the next year traveling around the country, and if we find we love what we've always wanted to do, we'll invest in a newer model. Excited to load the Harley on the back and hit the road.
We have so many questions and sincerely hope this forum/website will become a place to learn, and to hopefully make new friends.

Hi Gary and Carolyn,
You came to the right place so Welcome to the Forum!
If you are new, I have a few suggestions:
Purchase an in line water filter and water pressure regulator. Why you ask? Because CG's (camp grounds) are notorious for having high water pressure and nasty water and this will keep you from blowing the plumbing in your rig and keep you shower, sinks, and toilet cleaner.
Both can be purchased at Walmart for under $45. Worth the price with your first blown pipe.
If you are going to look at doing this for a long time, get yourself a Good Sam card from Camping World to get 10% off CG's. Saves you a bit of money. With this card you can get a Pilot / Flying J credit card and get .05 cents off per gallon.
There are lot's of apps out there that can help you find CG's, road plans, and Walmart's to park in for free over night.
