Hey from Friendswood, Tx.
Hello everybody from sunny and hot Texas...
The good thing is summer is 1/2 over. New to Rv'ing but not to Rv's After the huge traffic jams out of Houston for Hurricane Rita back in 05, we left just ahead of it all.
I said it won't happen to me! So i found and converted a 83 Silver Eagle coach, "I like the challenge" and started on the conversion.
Came out great, but to small to vacation with the family, no slides. So now i also own a 2004 Discovery with three slides. I aslo have made multiple repairs on some high end coach's.
I still work and hopefully alway's will, I'm a Electrical contractor here in Tx. and like to design and fabricate, and always looking for better idea's on how to do things, and i think this forum is the rite place to help with that.

Hi from hot & sunny NJ. I have a brother who lives in Friendswood. He doesn't RV though.

Welcome from Texas City.
We were not so fortunate back in '05. I got delayed getting out of town. Went from Texas City to Lufkin, 150 miles in 15-1/2 hours.
Never again. If there is a next time we WILL get out of Dodge earlier.
