Smile Hey from Kansas!

Hey everyone! We are new to the whole RV experience and SO excited to become a part of it. We are in the market for a newish 5th wheel and would like advice regarding such things as water filters and slide awnings. They both seem like great ideas but since we know nothing about RVing don't know how much importance to place on them.

We like a front living room floorplan, but again we don't know all there is to consider and don't want to make any buying mistakes. The Montana 3750FL is one we liked.

We are in the Kansas City area and will be traveling mostly East of the Mississippi due to work. We will be living in our 5th wheel 3/4 of the time and should be mostly South in the winter.

The truck, which we don't have yet, will be a Ford 3500 Diesel.

Thanks in advance for friendship and advice.

Welcome DiDo,
Sounds like you have the makings of a plan. I can't help with specific 5th wheels question, mainly because I know nothing about them. However, plenty of members here will be able to give the guidance your looking for because the most experienced practical experts reside here. Lets us know if your travels take you to Pensacola. The coffee (or something a tad stronger) is on us.

Welcome. I spent a little time in Kansas. If you are looking at a new 5th wheel, consider 3 slides, and a 50 amp service.
