Hey there, Newbies here

Hey there folks,

So we are soon to be in the game and doing our shopping and due diligence on a trailer. We have had RV's in the family for years, and even owned a tent trailer at one time ourselves, and now that the kids are grown and gone, its our turn.

So I've signed up for this forum to look around, get ideas, help us find the right trailer at the right price. We're looking for something a couple of years old, that as newbies we can make our initial "mistakes" with.

Floor plans are important to us, so that we can maximize our space, yet not have to buy something that's 9000 ft long right out of the shoot. Looking for an ultra lite style trailer, 22 to 24 ft long that we will be pulling with our new F-150 (see avatar). 3.31's with the trailer mode tranny, trailer tow pack, 8700lb capacity.

I've been "internet shopping" for quite sometime, but have a good idea what I can afford (somewhere around 8 grand). Just would love to get opinions and input on the best brands, best quality, and most of all, a dry roof over our heads when we are out and about.

Thanks so much in advance for everyone's input.....

~B

Welcome to the forum. If you look at the top and see (RV Forums) you will find a Travel Trailer section. I think this will give you a lot of answers from people who own TTs. Good luck with your choice.

I haven't owned one, but you might check out Arctic Fox. I have read only good things about them on iRV2. Good luck in your search.
