Hi

My name is Kandiss.
I just inherited a 1988 Aristocrat XL634. Motorhome A.
I am clueless to this new vehicle. Lol
I am trying to find any information I can on this RV. I don't know the length or weight or any of the specs. I actually haven't seen it in person as of this post. I just got the title and Keys to it.
Please any help would be awesome! Thanks in advance.

Welcome Kandiss:

Someone here can likely help with your "new" unit, but in the meantime,
when you get it, there's often a "data sheet" somewhere in the MH.
Ours is a sheet, glued to the wall of the closet.
Check around, you may come across the data you're looking for.

Good luck!

Congrats Kandiss on your new motor home.

1988 was the last year of that model.

I hope it brings you many miles of smiles.

Ask lots of questions.

Visit the vintage section on this forum for more information.

Glad to have you here with us.

Once you take possession I would have a certified RV inspector go over it. The cost can be anywhere from $200-$400. They will find things that may be problematic with the rig. It's also a good idea to have them go over the MH while you are there. Take notes, or better yet video everything for future reference. Get them to show you how everything works. It will save you a lot of grief in the future.

Welcome aboard!

The first thing you need to do is check the date the tires were manufactured.

How old are my tires? - CheckTire.com

That link will explain how to do it.

Update 1988 Aristocrat XL634

I finally got the RV to my house. It’s in pretty good condition. Did have to tow it. My mechanic said the Fly wheel is missing a bunch of teeth from them trying to get the starter to turn over. And we found out that someone flushed the gas tank with water!! 🤦🏻*♀️ So he’s gonna drop the tank and clean it and all that good stuff. And change the Fly wheel. Other than that it checks out so far. They just got tags on it so I know it was running well enough a few months ago.
